Meet The Doctors
Dr. Gary w. Starbuck, DDS
Dr. Starbuck was born and raised in Salem, Ohio. He received his undergraduate degree from the College of Wooster in 1968 with a major in biology and a minor in German and his dental degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1971. He served in the United States Public Health Service in New York City and Portland, Maine and had a solo dental practice in Yarmouth for four years. In 1981, he joined Dr. Swan and together they formed Bayview Dental Associates.
Dr. Starbuck is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maine Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Greater Portland Dental Society, and the Casco Bay Study Club. He is a past president of the Maine Academy of General Dentistry and the Greater Portland Dental Society. Dr. Starbuck served as a clinical instructor and board member for the UNE School of Dental Hygiene, and currently serves as a member of the Maine Dental Association's Continuing Education Council.
His hobbies are fly fishing, boating and travel. Dr. Starbuck and his wife Susie live in Yarmouth and have one grown daughter, Rebecca.
